Fresh Leadership for Kirkland

Kirkland is my home. Living downtown, I see firsthand the housing, infrastructure, and traffic challenges we face. As Kirkland grows, we must strike a careful balance, honoring the longtime residents who built this community while ensuring a thriving future for generations. We can do this. I'm running for city council for many reasons, but mainly to bring transparency and results back to Kirkland.

I've had the opportunity to volunteer with Kirkland Association at 4th of July events, and adopted the corner by Merrill Gardens ensuring crosswalk flags are available. No task is too humble when it comes to pedestrian safety, especially for the senior citizens who call Kirkland home. And with time spent living abroad, I’ve seen successful cities balance growth, infrastructure, and community needs – Kirkland can too.

My bio speaks to the credentials we'll need on the dais - real world experience to deliver results for residents. Whether the question is about a housing mix to ensure a neighborhood's character, transit options or tree protections, the first step is a focus on hearing and listening to residents - then delivering on the priorities we all share as we grow together. Positive results are not only defined by regional mandates or the loudest voices; local elected government exists to serve all its residents and the approach I take is to listen first - listening is fundamental to success.

My priorities include ensuring thoughtful development, supporting first responders, strengthening small businesses, and promoting fiscal responsibility. Please say hello when you see me! You might see me running in town or along the Cross Kirkland Corridor, eating at one of our wonderful restaurants with my wife Suzie or browsing in local shops. With my kids living nearby, I'm deeply invested in Kirkland’s future. Together, we can shape what comes next. I'd appreciate your vote!
